Missouri Career Development Association (MoCDA) provides opportunities for professional development, connections and collaboration among Missouri area career development professionals. MoCDA advocates for issues related to career development and promotes integrity and professionalism within the field. MoCDA is inclusive of students and professionals engaged in the career development field; constituencies include Higher Education, K-12 Schools, Agencies, Private Practice, Corporate and Government.
MoCDA is a Division of the American Counseling Association of Missouri (ACAM) and a chartered State Chapter of the National Career Development Association (NCDA).
MoCDA was founded in 2011 and membership averages 60-80 members statewide each year. We are a division of the American Counseling Association of Missouri and a Chartered State Chapter of the National Career Development Association.
Our organization exists to connect career development practitioners across the state of Missouri and provide professional development opportunities to our members. Our professional development includes typically includes 2-3 webinars per year, 2 roundtable discussions, and 1 in–person professional development event. We strive to be able to provide CEU’s as often as possible for the benefit of our members.
