Determining a career path can be difficult. It is not always as simple as creating a list of pros and cons. Many variables can be considered, and often individuals fear making the wrong choice.
Join Mr. Floyd Welsh, Director of Career Services at Saint Louis University, to learn about thought records, a technique he successfully uses to meet students where they are and help them remove barriers to making career decisions. Mr. Welsh will describe and demonstrate this technique with the help of April Myers, University of Alabama at Birmingham Fraternity and Sorority Life Coordinator.

While earning a graduate degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education, Ms. Myers found it challenging to identify a specific career path to achieve her goals. Ms. Myers has graciously agreed to reflect on her own career decision making process to assist Mr. Welsh demonstrate how to utilize thought records to assist students in making career decisions.
